During his time with heartbase, Michael has overseen implementations at 50+ hospital sites and has been integral in the development of key heartbase projects, including the hbAnalytics Dashboard platform, and dozens of custom registries and reports.

Kerry is an RN with experience in Cardiothoracic ICU, Pulmonary, and General Surgery. She joined heartbase in January 2026 as the hbRecon Clinical Director. Prior to this role, she spent 15 years working at CommonSpirit Health-Dignity Health in Arizona, with the last 9 years dedicated to cardiac registry data management and analysis at CSH Chandler Regional.

Allison has spent over 20 years in healthcare IT, leading teams and building analytics that turn complex data into clear insights. In this Sr. Analytics Developer role, she is focused on delivering tools that not only report numbers but tell the story behind them.
Meet Karen.
RN, MSN, Sr. Clinical Specialist
Karen is an RN with a lifelong passion for improving care systems and outcomes for cardiovascular patients across the healthcare continuum. In September 2025, she retired from nearly 45 years of hospital-based nursing. The majority of these years were at CommonSpirit Health, legacy Dignity Health, St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton California. As a long-time user of heartbase products, she was excited to join the team as a Senior Clinical Specialist, focusing primarily on hbRecon in a part-time/consultant capacity. She looks forward to supporting the heartbase user community to capture lost revenue, achieve workflow efficiencies and as always, improve outcomes for the patients we all serve.
